CCD / Faith Formation Class Mission
To teach the Syro Malabar Catholic faith in partnership with parents, the primary educators of their children. The journey of faith begins at Baptism and calls for children to actively participate with their parents in the full life of our Catholic Church. In order for this journey to enrich the lives of everyone involved, each catechist, parent and student must understand and embrace his/her role.

i) Registration for Lenten Retreats - Participation in the annual Lenten Retreat is mandatory for all Faith Formation Program students.
1) Youth Retreat (Grades 9 and up) will be held this weekend from March 8th to March 10th, 2024. Geo Roncy from DYA will be leading this retreat along with other DYA members. Timings will be Friday 7:30 pm to 10:00pm / Saturday 8:30 am to 8 pm / Sunday 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. Please register using this link Registration Link for Youth Retreat
2) Kids Retreat (Grades 1 to 8) will be held from March 16th to 17th led by Anointing Fire Catholic Youth Ministry. TImings will be the same as that of Adult retreat. Please register using this link Registration Link for Kids Retreat
ii) Parent Meeting- A parent meeting is scheduled next Sunday March 10th for parents of Elementary & Middle school children as well as any new families who have registered during the past two academic years. Meeting will be held in Fellowship Hall during CCD time. Please plan to attend.
iii) Daniel Show- We have filled 73 seats and have 39 seats remaining. If you plan to participate please use this link Registration Link for Daniel Show
iv) Dei Verbum Finals- The cut off score for finalists is 80% for Adults and 70% for all other groups. Finals will be held in Church on Saturday May 11 from 3 pm to 4 pm.

Dear Parents - As we enter the Lenten season here are some important updates.
A) Lenten Charts - Attached are the Lenten Charts for use by your children during this Lenten season. Kindly print a copy and encourage your child to follow the chart. There is only one chart for high schoolers and another for all other grades. You may modify it for your child if needed. We have a few copies available in the CCD office.
B) Registration for Lenten Retreats - Participation in the annual Lenten Retreat is mandatory for all Faith Formation Program students.

C) Praise & Worship Evening - CML invites all CCD students to "Be Lifted High", a praise and worship session on Feb 17th at 5:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Dinner will be provided.

Dear Parents,
Academic year (2023-24) for the Faith Formation Program started on Sunday, September 10th, 2023. If you are new to the parish, please register your children using link below. Annual registration fee for the year is $125 per family payable online or via check.
Dei Verbum 2024 Quiz: The registration for Dei Verbum 2024 Bible Quiz is open and will close on Nov 12th. Children (Grade 4 and up) and Adults are eligible to participate. Sacrament of Confirmation: If your child is not in 3rd grade and needs to receive the sacrament of Confirmation, please contact the CCD Admin team at the earliest.

For 2023-24 CCD/Faith Formation academic year registration fees is $125/Family.Can I use my personal email address to access Google classroom?
Each student need to use their church email address (@stthomassyronj.org) to access google classroom.

All the students will have access to the church email account to use for google classroom. If any of the student do not have access, please contact your student's class teachers.
